AI Policy

• IRA Jurnal Teknik Mesin dan Aplikasinya (IRAJTMA) allows the limited use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support language editing, grammar checking, formatting, and clarity of writing.
• Authors must disclose any use of generative AI tools in preparing substantial parts of a manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of their manuscript. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors because authorship requires human responsibility and accountability.
• Reviewers must not upload submitted manuscripts, data, figures, tables, or review materials to AI tools or external AI platforms, as this may violate confidentiality. Reviewers and editors remain responsible for their own expert judgment and decisions.
• Any misuse of AI tools, including plagiarism, fabricated data, false references, misleading content, or breach of confidentiality, may result in editorial action according to IRAJTMA’s publication ethics policy.
