Abstrak

Dalam studi ini, penguatan struktur beton dikerjakan dengan melapisinya dengan bahan komposit laminat dari kombinasi penguat dari bahan alami (lembar kain jute anyaman) dan bahan sintetik (lembar serat kaca e-glass anyaman). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kekuatan tarik belah beton kolom silinder (BKS) dengan metode uji tarik belah (split tensile test) akibat pemberian selubung komposit laminat hibrid jute e-glass (KLHJG), analisis validitas data dengan metode data terdistribusi normal (DTN) terhadap hasil uji kekuatan geser selubung KLHJG sebagai penguat BKS, dan analisa pengaruh pemberian selubung KLHJG terhadap kekuatan tarik BKS. Spesimen dicetak berdasarkan standar uji ASTM C496 dengan perlakuan perendaman dalam air bersih selama 28 hari dan pengeringan di udara terbuka selama 28 hari. Variasi KLHJG terdiri dari JGJ, JJG, JJJG, JGJG, dan GJGJ. Tiap variasi terdiri dari 3 kali perulangan pengujian. Proses pemberian selubung KLHJG pada BKS menggunakan metode Vacuum Bagging. Validitas data menggunakan metode fungsi kerapatan probabilitas. Hasil studi memperlihatkan bahwa pemberian KLHJG mampu meningkatkan kekuatan tarik belah hingga 800 %. Dengan demikian, aplikasi KLHJG berpotensi diterapkan sebagai penguat BKS.
