Analisis Pembakaran Ganda Bahan Bakar Natural Gas dan Biosolar pada Mesin Diesel Satu Silinder: Studi Efisiensi Termal dan Performa

Riset pembahasan ini bertujuan mengetahui unjuk kinerja mesin Diesel satu silinder Jiandong 170F dengan pengoprasian menggunakan pembakaran bahan bakar ganda antara biosolar sebagai bahan bakar utama dan natural gas. Pada studi ini reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) dan low temperature combustion (LTC) sebagai metode pencampuran bahan bakar dengan memanfaatkan campuran bahan bakar biosolar B30 dan gas alam. Karakteristik gas alam yang memiliki angka setana rendah menyebabkan proses pembakaran terjadi saat suhu lebih rendah sehingga penyalaan titik mati atas lebih awal. Kondisi ini dapat ditelaah menggunakan metode HCCI. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan peningkatkan torsi aktual 4% senilai 5,8 Nm dibandingkan penggunaan biosolar murni. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan efisiensi termal sebesar 5-10 % senilai rata-rata 30%. Hal ini, menjadikan pembakaran yang lebih sempurna sehingga berkontribusi terhadap penurunan emisi sisa atau NOx.
