Abstract

Malang City is quite famous for its UMKM in culinary. One of them is UMKM that produce cakes and bread, both for souvenirs and for general sale. The baking process is one of the important stages in making cakes and bread. In this process, the oven is one of the tools. Unfortunately, there are still many UMKM using traditional/conventional ovens. So that the production process cannot be faster and more efficiently. Therefore, an oven with a large capacity is needed but is quite efficient in terms of energy use and has sensors that can maximize the production process. Based on the results of the development and implementation of smart ovens, it is known that the quality of the results of cakes and bread and food whose production process uses ovens is getting better. After the implementation and training of the use of smart ovens, the results of UMKM production are increase. The quality of UMKM production is getting better and is able to produce in larger quantities.
